Shellshock and WordPress to Cloud

If you’re running a WordPress to Cloud instance you may be affected by the Shellshock Bash bug. You need to take action to protect your website. Fortunately, it’s very easy to do with Webmin or command line.

The key thing is to make sure that bash software is patched. The command for updating bash would look like this:

sudo yum -y update bash

In Webmin, you can see if there are any updates available in the System Information screen, which is the first thing that you see when you log into Webmin. Click the package updates link at the bottom of the information pane:


When you see the list of modules, make sure that the bash is selected (it will be, by default):


Then click the Update Selected Packages button:
